GREAT VALUE — Heavy Duty Industrial Tool
I purchased this demolition hammer about 1 year ago for some heavy duty demolition work. I have been very pleased with its performance.
There are larger demolition hammers available costing much more money but the advantage of this tool it that it is lighter in weight than the others (meaning less fatigue) and about ¼ the price. The most important thing to remember is to remember to keep the OIL level filled at the proper level for proper lubrication. The only servicing you might have to do over the years is to replace the electrical cord and plug. I always replace my tools with a 12 gauge wire. This cost me about $5.00 and took 10 minutes to replace. Most import Chinese tools are manufactured with undersized electrical wires to plug into an outlet. The type of Chisel this hammer uses is a bit specialized and not available at many stores. THEY ARE AVAILABLE HERE AT AMAZON.

Great Value
I bought my jack hammer through Amazon but it actually shipped from Jack’s Tool Shed. This jack hammer is great value, I live just outside Austin which means you have two inches of dirt and then solid lime stone. The jack hammer makes light work of braking up the rock while still being relatively small and light as far as jack hammers go. One of the contractors that did work at my house was so impressed with mine that he ordered one too.

Beats renting one
I removed a 3ft by 8ft pad of 4inch thick concrete with this. Worked good. Little tip is to let the jackhammer do the work dont try to force it through the concrete. And now I own a jackhammer so I will never have to rent one. Definitely made in china workmanship but it works.

Porter Cable #394 orbital sander
I purchased this sander to replace an older Porter Cable model of a similar orbital sander based on test rports I had read and concur it is the best of its class on the market. In use it prodces a surface without any swirl marks that show when finish applied. It is well balanced and easy to use. I do not use the attached dust collector; using instead my PC dust colector via its hose with excellent collection of dust. The attached dust collector might be handy if the sander is used away from the shop. This sander is well worth the money paid for it.

This is the least comfortable to use sander I have owned!
I repair and refinish furniture for a living, so sanders in my shop get daily use, and I have found the Porter-Cable sanders to be the best bang for your buck, and have used them almost exclusively for the last 12 years.
I ordered this to replace a Porter-Cable sander that was just plain worn out after 3 years of daily use, and thought the low profile design would help with getting into some of the tighter areas on furniture, such as drawer openings ect.
The sander seems to be built well, and does a great job of sanding. but ergonomically, this is the worst design ever! it is almost impossible to use it for anything other than horizontal surfaces, because the grip area is almost as wide as the base of the sander…hand fatigue sets in almost immediately!
Unless you are sanding only large flat horizontal surfaces, I would recommend you pass on this sander! Buy the “old style” sanders that let you actually get a grip, so you can maneuver them to where you need them!

Low profile sander review

The new design of low profile sander makes using a vacuum hose connection less user friendly.It changes direction of dust collection port to (straight out ) from old model which was easier to use (curved around the side). But mainly my gripe is the grip was designed for a hand the size of a NBA players hand .WHAT WERE THEY THINKING ?Otherwise it sands well,with my luck it will never stop working. Wood worker

Excellent for cyclists and bike repair
Bondhaus are the same wrenches that are re-branded by “Park Tool” and sold at 3 times the price at bike shops. They have the ball on the long end. Great fit. Great value. The best hex wrenches around, IMO.

Wonderful item!
This is the FOURTH palm sander I’ve owned in my 48 years and this is the first one that I don’t want to destroy with a sledge hammer. The paper-change feature on this one is a little bit of heaven. It’s easy, it’s quick and you won’t pinch your delicate lady fingers (or worse). The little red button on the front is what makes it sweet and good. Press that button and the sandpaper slides in easily. On the back, the paper is threaded through a little lever. I love this feature. Oh mercy, do I love this feature.

The dust-catcher does a decent job of trapping sawdust but as often as not, I use it without the rear-bagger dealie.

The other super-nice feature: It is not painful to sand with this sander. Most other sanders vibrate my hands, wrist and arm so bad that it is quite painful and unpleasant. I don’t know how they did it, but this sander is almost vibration free.

Speaking as a woman who has sanded about 12 billion board feet of lumber, this is the best palm sander I’ve seen on the market. I’m very impressed.

Another quality Bosch tool
I already own a Bosch variable speed 5″ random orbital sander, and was impressed with the build quality and ergonomics of it. I needed a 1/4 sheet sander, and saw this reconditioned unit for sale (great price, looked brand new), so I grabbed it. This is an excellent unit, and I really like the mechanism for clamping the sandpaper to the base plate — to tools, no fuss, holds the sandpaper firmly in place, and easy to do while in the midst of a job. The vibration is minimal, the noise is minimal, and the dust collection works fine. My only wish is that I had bought the variable speed model, but I’m happy nevertheless. This unit was worth it’s price — highly recommended.

This is the 4th reconditioned item I’ve purchased from Amazon. I have yet to be disappointed.

This does the job it was purchased for. And does it the way they promised. You’d never know it wasn’t brand new.

Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes. Bosch took a great palm sander and made it better with a clever innovation that gets your sandpaper on the deck fast and securely. They call it the SheetLoc Sandpaper Attachment System. It’s a simple configuration that makes loading sandpaper quicker and easier. Just open the front and rear clamps, insert the edge of the paper in the front and wrap it around to the back as usual. But when you close the rear clamp, it pulls the sandpaper taut and flat against the sanding bed. It’s about time somebody figured this one out. The integrated dust collection system is nice, though of course you’ll get more extraction when you hook the sander up to your standard dust collector or a wet/dry. On its own, it pulls in a good amount of sanding dust, and it’s as snap to empty the canister. It uses regular sandpaper sheets, but you’ll have to pop on the neat hole-puncher that’s including you’re your paper is seated; that lets the dust collector do its work. We like the feel of it and how hungry it is when it’s wearing 60-grit. By the time you get up to 220, you’ll have a gorgeous, smooth finish.

Good Value Toolset - Average Quality
The price on this toolset is good and the tools are workable; however, they are not heavy duty, and I wouldn’t expect them to last a long time under heavy usage.
The set is nice and small, perfect to keep in my car to have some basic tools available at all times. I wish the case fasteners were a bit more secure, but so far it hasn’t come open in the trunk.

The tools are below average quality, the tape measure was broken to begin with, but still useful to have around. Not so great for the money.

Apartment dweller’s toolkit
If you live in a small apartment, have limited storage, and want some tools for really basic tasks, then this is a useful set. Easy on the hands and no visible swirl marks!
I’ve used this sander now for a few months doing trim carpentry work. And I love it. The reason I bought the psa with no dust collection was I don’t like buying special paper with holes in it and I don’t like a bag hanging of the end of the sander. This sander is the smoothest running sander I’ve used other than a pneumatic one, which is good on the hands since there is little vibration. I can tell that the motor speeds up or slows down when lifted or placed down on the surface from the load control but it is a smooth transition. I have used 100 and 120 grit paper sanding oak and maple and have been amazed at the results. I have not had to get out the 1/4 sheet sander to go over anything since I’ve not had any swirl marks. And it seems like the paper last a lot longer in this sander than my previous one.
I don’t use the variable speed control much but like the position of the dial, as it’s easy to adjust while using. The handle may be a little big for some but I find it easier and sometimes more comfortable to grip it cloesr to the back.
I would recommend this sander to anyone who is a hobbyist or professional looking for a high quality sander.
