SECCO 34WVPOLSET 3/4-Inch Radius Wet Polisher Kit Description:

The polishing pad set includes a backer & 1 each; 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 and 3000 grit. This vacuum brazed profile wheel is designed to produce a 3/4″ radius on natural or engineered stone and concrete. Very simple to use, the wheel screws directly on this tool. Our profile wheels feature an internal water feed for optimum cooling of the bit. A nylon guide on the top of the bit rides on the surface of the stone and a lower bearing controls the depth of cut for consistent shaping. Turn on the water and the grinder, apply some force parallel with the working surface, you’re on your way to that custom edge. After you shape the edge, screw the included Velcro backing pad onto the grinder and start polishing with the 100 grit pad (50 grit included, however it is very aggressive and should be used with caution). Continue polishing with each grit included with this kit and that factory shine can be achieved.

I just finished my first granite counter top and everything works great. Except for the splash guard/ finger shield. It does not stop the water from splashing you. I had to go get my rain gear on but after that I had a good time. You have to remove the guard to use the wrench to change the attachments which is a bit annoying. I may just leave it off for good. Also the hose developed a small hole but the water pressure here is around 100psi so I can see why it couldn’t handle the pressure. However the hose can be replaced easily because the quick connection ends unscrew allowing you to replace the hose. The grinder ran for hours and did not get hot. All in all I think this is a good deal.

This kit includes a SECCO 4″ variable speed wet polisher, 3/4″ radius profile wheel and a complete set of 4″ diamond polishing pads. This set also includes the rubber backer pad needed to attach the diamond pads to the polisher. This kit includes a 3/4″ radius vacuum brazed diamond profile wheel.
